Ingredients

Kostol IBT

Cationic o/w emulsifier. Provides excellent conditioning, detangling and frizz reduction in all hair care formulations. Promotes a powdery after-feel in skin care. Usage level 0.5-8%.

Ozokerite Wax 175

Ozokerites are blends of branched and linear hydrocarbons. Ozokerite 175 has excellent structuring capabilities in almost all liquid mediums. Structurant. Usage level 1-15%.

Procedure

  • Combine Phase A ingredients and heat to 80-85°C.
  • Combine Phase B ingredients and heat to 80-85°C.
  • Once both Phases are at temperature, add Phase B to Phase A and increase mixing speed. Shear is optional.
  • When emulsion is smooth, pour at 55 -60°C into appropriate containers. Keep mixer on during filling

Stability Information

Three months at 45°C, three months at room temperature, three freeze/thaw cycles.

Additional Notes


Use Directions: Select sections to color, apply liberally to dry hair sections, allow to sit 5-10 minutes, then wash and condition hair as usual. Color should fade out in 5-10 shampoos.
