Ingredients

White Beeswax

Natural wax produced by honeybees. Multifunctional; excels at making anhydrous formulas soft and pliable, and making emulsions glossy, thick and with excellent pickup. Structurant, plasticizer, thickener.

Kester Wax K-70P

Naturally derived plasticizer. Increases melt point, stability, and compatibility in anhydrous systems. Improves feel without affecting structure. Creates jellies and squeezables. Usage level 0.5-20%.

Procedure

  • Combine all ingredients except for the sugar.
  • Melt at 80-85° C and mix until uniform.
  • Remove from heat and add sugar.
  • Mix well while continuing to cool to desired pour/fill temperature.

Stability Information

Three months at 50° C, three months at room temperature, three freeze/thaw cycles.
