SynKos O-1070

Synthetic wax that increases melt point and provides hard structure in anhydrous formulas, mimics the properties of medium melt paraffins, ozokerites, polyethylenes. Economical, versatile structurant. BHT free.

SynKos M-1063

Synthetic wax that increases melt point and acts as a plasticizer in anhydrous formulas. Mimics the properties of higher melt point microcrystalline waxes. BHT free.

Kester Wax K-45

Light, non-greasy emollient derived from jojoba. Improves softness, spreadability, and after feel in leave-on formulas. Conditions skin and hair without buildup; adds glide, silkiness, and stability.

Procedure

  • Combine all ingredients.
    • Melt at 80-85°C and mix until uniform.
  • Continuing to mix while cooling to around 70°C .
  • Pour into containers.

Stability Information

Three months at 50°C, three months at room temperature, three freeze/thaw cycles.
