Ingredients

SynKos Wax 2060

Synthetic wax that increases melt point and provides hard structure in anhydrous formulas, mimics the properties of medium melt paraffins, ozokerites, polyethylenes. Economical, versatile structurant.

SynKos M-1063

Synthetic wax that increases melt point and acts as a plasticizer in anhydrous formulas. Mimics the properties of higher melt point microcrystalline waxes. BHT free.

Kester Wax K-82P

Unique plasticizer. High melt point soft wax improves stability, compatibility, and feel of anhydrous systems without affecting structure. Creates jellies and squeezables. Usage level 0.25-20%.

Procedure

  • Combine Phase B ingredients and mill until homogeneous.
  • Combine Phase A ingredients in a vessel, heat and mix until uniform.
  • Add Phase B to Phase A and mix.
  • Pour into containers at around 85°C, allow to cool to room temperature.

Stability Information

Three months at 50°C, three months at room temperature, three freeze/thaw cycles.
