Ingredients

Sustainable White Beeswax

Socially and environmentally responsible beeswax. Multifunctional; makes anhydrous formulas soft and pliable, makes emulsions glossy, thick and with excellent pickup. Structurant, plasticizer, thickener.

Kester Wax K-60P

Naturally derived plasticizer. Increases melt point, stability, compatibility in anhydrous systems, thickens emulsions and provides texture. Usage level 0.5-20%.

Procedure

  • Combine Phase B ingredients and mix until homogeneous, milling if necessary.
  • Combine Phase A ingredients in a vessel. Heat to 80–85°C and mix until uniform.
  • Once homogenous, add Phase B to Phase A and mix.
  • Cool to room temperature with mixing.
  • Pump into containers.

Stability Information

Three months at room temperature, three months at 45°C, three freeze/thaw cycles.
