Ingredients

Sunflower Wax

Natural wax with high melting point and excellent structuring capabilities. Increases stick structure and stability. Structurant. Usage 1-15%

Kester Wax K-45

Light, non-greasy emollient derived from jojoba. Improves softness, spreadability, and after feel in leave-on formulas. Conditions skin and hair without buildup; adds glide, silkiness, and stability.

White Beeswax

Natural wax produced by honeybees. Multifunctional; excels at making anhydrous formulas soft and pliable, making emulsions glossy, thick and with excellent pick up. Structurant, plasticizer, thickener.

Procedure

  • Combine all ingredients.
  • Melt at 80-85°C and mix until uniform, using sheer if necessary.
  • Pour into molds around 85°C.
  • Allow to cool to room temperature.

Stability Information

Three months at 45°C, three months at room temperature, three freeze/thaw cycles.
