Ingredients

Kostol IBT 50

Cationic o/w emulsifier, 50% active level. Provides excellent conditioning, detangling and frizz reduction in all hair care formulations. Usage level 0.5-4%.

Kester Wax K-82P

Unique plasticizer. High melt point soft wax improves stability, compatibility, and feel of anhydrous systems without affecting structure. Creates jellies and squeezables. Usage level 0.25-20%.

Procedure

  • Mix and melt all ingredients excluding fragrance at 90 – 95°C until uniform.
  • Add essential oil/fragrance of choice and mix quickly.
  • Pour into molds and let cool.

Stability Information

  • Three months at 45°C
  • Three months at room temperature
  • Three freeze/thaw cycles
