  • Kester Wax K-24: Naturally derived wax ester of plant origin. Low melt point semi-solid, melts on body contact, provides cooling sensation. Adds slip, reduces greasy feel, dimethicone alternative. Usage level up to 50%.

Procedure

  • Combine first four Phase A ingredients one at a time, heat to 50°C
  • Premix next two Phase A ingredients and add to main batch.
  • In a separate vessel, combine Phase B ingredients, heating to 50°C (do not exceed temperature).
  • Add Phase B to Phase A and mix well. Cool to room temperature.

Stability Information

Three months at room temperature, three months at 45°C, three freeze/thaw cycles.
