Kester Wax K-60P

Naturally derived plasticizer. Increases melt point, stability, compatibility in anhydrous systems, thickens emulsions and provides texture. Usage level 0.5-20%.

Kester Wax BWR

Natural, vegan wax blend designed to mimic the properties of natural beeswax. Thickener, film former, vegan beeswax alternative. Usage level 1-20%.

Procedure

  • Combine Phase B ingredients and mix until homogeneous, milling if necessary.
  • Combine Phase A ingredients in a vessel.
  • Heat to 80 – 85°C and mix until uniform.
  • Once homogenous, add Phase B to Phase A and mix.
  • Cool to room temperature with mixing and pump into tubes.

Stability Information

Three months at 45°C, three months at room temperature, three freeze/thaw cycles.
