Ingredients

Kostol TMC-25

Cationic o/w emulsifier. Sulfate-free, IPA-free. Provides excellent conditioning, detangling and frizz reduction in all hair care formulations. Promotes a powdery after-feel in skin care. Usage level 1-8%.

Cocoa Butter

Natural wax extracted from Cocoa beans. Low melt point solid, provides thickening, some structure, and nourishment to skin and hair. Emollient, thickener, glossy finish. Usage level up to 100%.

Procedure

  • Gently heat phase A and mix well until homogeneous.
  • Combine Phase B ingredients, and heat to 80 – 85 °C until melted.
  • Add Phase B to Phase A and mix well until a homogeneous paste is formed. Do not exceed 80 °C.
  • Add Phase C in small increments under medium heat and mix until fully homogenous.
  • Fill, press or form into desired shapes, decorate with powder of choice if desired.
  • Allow to set at room temperature 24 hours

  • Three months at 45 °C
  • Three months at room temperature
  • Three freeze/thaw cycles
