Procedure

  • Combine Phase A ingredients, allow to cool below 50°C
  • Pre-disperse Pigment* in olive oil
  • Combine Phase B ingredients, and heat to 80 – 85°C until melted, allow to cool below 50°C.
  • Add Phase A to Phase B. Hand mix
  • Homogenize mixture until trace occurs.
  • Once desirable trace is achieved, pour into molds
  • Allow to set for 24-48 hours prior to unmolding. Allow cure time of one week before use.

  • <1 month at 45°C
  • <1 month at room temperature
  • Three freeze/thaw cycles
