Ingredients

  • Orange Wax: Natural wax, upcycled from orange peels. Low melt point wax that provides a unique scent and color. Adds interest to the label and energy in the formula. Emollient. Usage level 0.5-10%.
  • Sunflower Wax: Natural wax extracted from sunflower seeds.Very high melting point and excellent structuring capabilities, increases stick structure and stability. Structurant. Usage level 1-15%.
  • Kester Wax K-60P: Naturally derived plasticizer. Increases melt point, stability, compatibility in anhydrous systems, thickens emulsions and provides texture. Usage level 0.5-20%.

Procedure

  • Combine Phase A ingredients, mix and melt at 85°C until uniform.
  • Add Phase B and mix well.
  • Once homogenous, begin to cool to room temperature while continuing to mix.
  • Fill into containers.

Stability Information

Three months at room temperature, three months at 45°C, three freeze/thaw cycles.
