Kostol NatureMuls

Natural, PEG-free nonionic o/w emulsifier. Provides a medium to long break, with some viscosity growth. Can be used as a primary or secondary emulsifier. Usage level 3-8%.

Kester Wax K-60P

Naturally derived plasticizer. Increases melt point, stability, compatibility in anhydrous systems, thickens emulsions and provides texture. Usage level 0.5-20%.

Kester Wax K-24

Naturally derived wax ester of plant origin. Low melt point semi-solid, melts on body contact, provides cooling sensation. Adds slip, reduces greasy feel, dimethicone alternative. Usage level up to 50%.

Procedure

  • Combine Phase C ingredients and mill until homogeneous.
  • Mix Phase A ingredients and heat to 80 – 85°C.
  • Heat Phase B to 80 – 85°C.
  • Once all Phase B materials are melted, add Phase C to Phase B and mix.
  • Once homogenous, add Phase B/C to Phase A with mixing.
  • Continue to mix while cooling to 50°C.
  • Pour into containers.

Stability Information

  • One month at room temperature, one month at 45°C
