  • SynKos Wax 2050: Synthetic wax that increases melt point and provides hard structure in anhydrous formulas, mimics the properties of medium melt paraffins, ozokerites, polyethylenes. Economical, versatile structurant.
  • Kester Wax K-24: Naturally derived wax ester of plant origin. Low melt point semi-solid, melts on body contact, provides cooling sensation. Adds slip, reduces greasy feel, dimethicone alternative. Usage level up to 50%.
  • Kester Wax K-82P: Highly compatible plasticizer that can increase stability and melt point. Offers tremendous texture options in all applications.

  • Combine Phase A ingredients and heat to 80-85°C, mix until uniform.
  • Mix and melt Phase B at 80-85°C until uniform.
  • Combine Phase C ingredients, mill until homogeneous and slowly add to Phase B.
  • Add the Phase B/C mixture to Phase A while mixing.
  • When emulsion is smooth, begin cooling.
  • Cool 50°C or less and put into container
