Ingredients

SynKos O-1070

Synthetic wax that increases melt point and provides hard structure in anhydrous formulas, mimics the properties of medium melt paraffins, ozokerites, polyethylenes. Economical, versatile structurant. BHT free.

Cocoa Butter

Natural wax extracted from Cocoa beans. Low melt point solid, provides thickening, some structure, and nourishment to skin and hair. Emollient, thickener, glossy finish. Usage level up to 100%

Kester Wax K-60P

Naturally derived plasticizer. Increases meltpoint, stability, compatibility in anhydrous systems, thickens emulsions and provides texture. Usage level 0.5-20%.

Procedure

  • Combine all ingredients.
  • Melt at 80-85°C and mix until uniform.
  • Pour into containers at approximately 80°C and cool.

Stability Information

Three months at 45°C, three months at room temperature, three freeze/thaw cycles.
