Ingredients

  • Synkos O-1070: Synthetic wax that increases melt point and provides hard structure in anhydrous formulas, mimics the properties of medium melt paraffins, ozokerites, polyethylenes. Economical, versatile structurant. BHT free.
  • Cocoa Butter: Natural wax extracted from Cocoa beans. Low melt point solid, provides thickening, some structure, and nourishment to skin and hair. Emollient, thickener, glossy finish. Usage level up to 100%
  • Kester Wax K-60P: Naturally derived plasticizer. Increases meltpoint, stability, compatibility in anhydrous systems, thickens emulsions and provides texture. Usage level 0.5-20%.

Procedure

  • Combine all ingredients.
  • Melt at 80-85°C and mix until uniform.
  • Pour into containers at approximately 80°C and cool.

Stability Information

Three months at 45°C, three months at room temperature, three freeze/thaw cycles.
