Ingredients

  • Sunflower Wax: Natural wax extracted from sunflower seeds.Very high melting point and excellent structuring capabilities, increases stick structure and stability. Structurant. Usage level 1-15%.
  • NF White Beeswax: Multifunctional, natural wax that increases stability, compatibility, prevents syneresis, offers many texture options. Makes anhydrous formulas soft and pliable, makes emulsions glossy, thick and with excellent pickup.
  • Kester Wax K-60P: Naturally derived plasticizer. Increases melt point, stability, compatibility in anhydrous systems, thickens emulsions and provides texture. Usage level 0.5-20%.

Procedure

  • Combine all ingredients.
  • Melt at 80-85°C and mix until uniform, using shear if necessary.
  • Pour into containers around 85°C.
  • Allow to cool to room temperature.

Stability Information

Three months at room temperature, three months at 45°C, three freeze/thaw cycles.
