Ingredients

Kester Wax K-45

Light, non-greasy emollient derived from jojoba. Improves softness, spreadability, and after feel in leave-on formulas. Conditions skin and hair without buildup; adds glide, silkiness, and stability.

Sunflower Wax

Natural wax extracted from sunflower seeds. Very high melting point and excellent structuring capabilities, increases stick structure and stability. Structurant. Usage level 1-15%.

Kester Wax K-24

Naturally derived wax ester of plant origin. Low melt point semi-solid, melts on body contact, provides cooling sensation. Adds slip, reduces greasy feel, dimethicone alternative. Usage level up to 50%.

Procedure

  • Combine all ingredients.
  • Melt at 80-85°C and mix until uniform.
  • Pour into containers at about 80°C and cool.
