Ingredients

Kester Wax K-62

Naturally derived wax ester of plant origin. High melt point solid wax, provides hard structure in anhydrous applications. Structurant. Usage level 1-20%.

Kostol Natural E

Natural, PEG-free nonionic o/w emulsifier and stabilizer. Primary or secondary emulsifier in emusions, aids in structure and plasticity in anhydrous systems. Usage level 2-8%.

Cocoa Butter

Natural wax extracted from Cocoa beans. Low melt point solid, provides thickening, some structure, and nourishment to skin and hair. Emollient, thickener, glossy finish. Usage level up to 100%.

Procedure

  • Combine all ingredients.
  • Melt at 80-85°C and mix until uniform.
  • Pour into containers at approximately 80°C.
  • Cool to room temperature.
