Ingredients

Sustainable Yellow Beeswax

Socially and environmentally responsible beeswax. Multifunctional; makes anhydrous formulas soft and pliable, makes emulsions glossy, thick and with excellent pickup. Structurant, plasticizer, thickener.

Kester Wax K-24

Naturally derived wax ester of plant origin. Low melt point semi-solid, melts on body contact, provides cooling sensation. Adds slip, reduces greasy feel, dimethicone alternative. Usage level up to 50%.

Kester Wax K-60P

Naturally derived plasticizer. Increases melt point, stability, compatibility in anhydrous systems, thickens emulsions and provides texture. Usage level 0.5-20%.

Procedure

  • Combine all ingredients, melt at 80-85°C and mix until uniform.
  • Pour into containers at about 80°C and cool.

Stability Information

Three months at room temperature, three months at 45°C, three freeze/thaw cycles.
