• Nourishing Lotion with Velvety Smooth After Feel


  • Kostol PGP: Non-ionic o/w emulsifier. Provides a quick break and light feel, without affecting viscosity. Designed for multiple formula types, wide pH tolerance. Usuage level 2-6%.
  • Cera Bellina Wax: Beeswax derivative that increases compatibiltiy with polar materials. Promotes creamy textures in anhydrous systems. Co-emulsifier, stabilizer in both o/w and w/o emulsions. Usage level 1-10%.
  • Kester Wax BK-40: Unique branched wax ester. Brittle solid with a low melt point, can replace natural butters in emulsions, providing film forming, thickening and emolliency, without risk of oxidation.

  • Premix glycerin and xanthan gum.
  • Combine Phase A ingredients one at a time, mixing well after each
    addition, while heating the batch to 80-85°C.
  • Combine Phase B materials in a separate vessel, heat to 80-85°C, and mix until uniform.
  • Add Phase B to Phase A and mix at high speed and 80-85°C until emulsion is smooth.
  • Cool slowly at medium speed to 50°C and add Phase C ingredients, and mix well

Stability Information

One month at room temperature, one month at 45°C, three freeze/thaw cycles.
