Ingredients

  • Permulgin D: Non-ionic, high, HLB emulsifier designed for multiple formula types, good pH tolerance. Highly compatible.
  • Enhans SB-63: Derivatized beeswax will increase pick up and smooth texture. Has SPF boosting and moisturization properties.
  • Enhans PC-38: Can provide unique textures, improve thermal stability, SPF boosting and skin moisturization. The "anti-wax" wax.

Procedure

  • Mix Phase A ingredients one at a time until uniform, then heat to 80-85°C.
  • Combine Phase B ingredients and mix and heat to 80-85°C until uniform.
  • Add Phase B to Phase A and homogenize at 4000-5000 rpm at 80-85°C.
  • When emulsion is smooth, cool slowly at low speed to RT.

Stability

Three months at room temperature, three months at 45°C, three freeze/thaw cycles.
